Acclaim Meetings Creates Vice President Role to Accelerate Recent Growth in Travel Events
OYSTER BAY, NY (January 7, 2026): In a period of exponential expansion, leading travel event planner Acclaim Meetings has appointed Melissa Wright to its newly created role of Vice President. Wright will build upon the current wave of growth and oversee the team that plans and executes events, meetings, incentives, trainings, and in-destination education trips.
An industry veteran of more than three decades, Wright comes to Acclaim Meetings from TRAVELSAVERS. There, as Vice President, Business Development, she transformed the support the network provides to affiliated agencies. Wright was instrumental in shaping the Business Analyst role into an interactive consultant who provides in-person, customized counsel to agencies, supporting them in growing their revenues. Over the past 16 years, she has partnered with TRAVELSAVERS agencies in the US and Canada to assist them in meeting their goals.
